    Salty Black So Called Licorice

"This is not licorice at all. There may very well be molasses and anise in the ingredients but I an unable to detect them. This is instead, a salted butterscotch dyed black—not bad if labeled that, but a little weird. A true disappointment as I love a REAL salt licorice and I had hoped to find one produced here locally. Not to be."

    Worth a try!

"So, I saw your licorice with salt in a store and thought. . . no! I did not know it but my friend bought a couple of pieces and handed me one as we walked out the door. (by the way, we are licorice aficionados) I hesitated but then took the piece of candy, unwrapped it and popped it into my mouth. We probably walked about 5 steps, then told my friend, "We have to go back to that store". She asked why. I said I needed a bag of that candy! I ordered her a box of the salted licorice from your website after our trip as a sweet memento. After she received my gift, she confided that she had ordered from your website as well. . . for herself!"

"Best licorice I’ve ever had hands-down"

    Best ever

"I have been a licorice fan ever since my dad gave me my first piece decades ago when I was a child. This is the best I have ever had. I love the hint of salt and the strong perfect flavor! I am allergic to corn and some brands copped out to corn syrup. This is a true delight. Sign me hooked."

    Salty black licorice

"This licorice has the best blend of sweet, salty and black licorice. It’s chewy but not too chewy. It’s perfect!"

    Exactly as I imagined.

"^^ . . my wife would react. :-) Black licorice that is salted should probably be regulated. The individually wrapped pieces do help slow us down. So good."

    Amazing licorice

"I’m a person that thought they did not like black licorice. … until I tried these. They are delicious! Butter and salt flavor are dominant. The anise taste is there but not overwhelming."
